Jediah Plumley

I found my passion for photography after a sports injury in high school; photographing the games repurposed my involvement in sports. A majority of my career has revolved around sports and the high intensity environments that come along with it. As a contract photo editor I get to work with a high volume of photographers around the world in a variety of sports. I get to learn how each photographer thinks and I get see how they view the world for a moment.

Most recently, I have worked as a Project photo editor with the NBA, live editing all of the games and events along with client requests. I worked daily with photographers around the country and processed images posted on Getty Images. This experience has taught me how to work on large scale events in a fast paced collaborative environment.

I would approach the opportunity to be a member of your team similar to how I approach every event that I cover. I would be a seamless addition that expands the resources of the team. At first, I would want to get a firm understanding of my responsibilities and the workflow that I would befollowing. My editing style tends to be on the non-invasive side, and I follow the understood photojournalism ethics & standards.
